Ingredients

Marinade:

  • 1.5 cups pineapple juice
  • 4 tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ cup tomato sauce
  • 3 tbsp worcestershire
  • 3 tbsp black food coloring
  • 3 lbs wings
Brushing glaze:
  • 1 cup buffalo hot sauce
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp black food coloring

Directions

PREP TIME: 2.5 HOURS ; COOK TIME : 45 MINS

1. Combine the pineapple juice, brown sugar, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and food coloring in a bowl.
2. Add chicken wings to a large zip lock bag and pour in the contents of bowl, mix carefully and let marinate for at least 2 hrs, the longer u leave the darker the wings, best if done over night. Keep refrigerated.
3. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
4. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or a non-stick baking mat.
5. Remove wings from the fridge and place them in a single layer on the baking sheets.
6. Bake chicken for 30 min
7. Combine buffalo sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar and food coloring in a bowl and mix.
8. Remove the wings from the oven and brush liberally with the buffalo mixture.
9. Return to the oven and cook for an additional 10 min.
10. Take out and brush again and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
11. Serve in your spookiest dish and enjoy
